We are currently working very closely with many different contacts in Haiti and exploring our options for future trips. Airfare is about $700.00 round trip into Port-au-Prince. From there we would have to arrange another flight or other transportation options to other cities or areas if we do work there. Lodging in Haiti is fairly cheap as hotels are hard to come by, most missionaries stay at churches or camps in which many are free or small cost of upto $40.00 per day for lodging, 2 meals, internet, etc. We have found several possible churches to work with, and many many building projects. We found one need to build a new church. The purchase of the land and the new church building is about $16,000. Thats very cheap but would suit their needs.

I'm currently looking into going on a 10 +/- day scouting trip to do some investigation for setting up a full team. This scouting trip would cost about $1500.00. Unfortunately, with the current economy situation, money is tight and I don't have it, thus all my research has been done from the states right now. I will begin fundraising very soon.
